What we're looking for:
We are seeking a creatively driven Junior Art Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of bold imagination and practical design skills, ready to collaborate on various projects that span across multiple media platforms. You will work closely with our Creative Director to conceptualize and execute visually compelling advertising campaigns that align with our clients' strategic goals.
To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:
- Assist in the development of advertising campaigns from conceptualization to execution under the guidance of the Creative Director and in collaboration with the copywriting team.
- Design and produce attractive and effective layouts for various media, including digital, print, out-of-home, and social media.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that align with the creative brief and brand strategy.
- Create visual prototypes and mock-ups to present to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure brand consistency across all creative materials.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and advertising to keep our work at the forefront of innovation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and client expectations.
- Provide support to the creative team on photo shoots, video production, and other multimedia projects.
- Assist in the selection of photographers, illustrators, printers, and other vendors.
- Attend client meetings to present concepts and designs, taking feedback constructively and implementing changes where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an art direction or design role, preferably in an agency setting.
- A portfolio showcasing strong aesthetic judgment and conceptual ability.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and video editing software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
- Energetic, collaborative spirit with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
