About the Role  

 

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team in Beirut. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management within a leading agency environment. You will support the social media team in developing and executing engaging strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about the social media landscape, develop communication skills, and contribute to real-world campaigns.

What You’ll Do 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Social Media team in research and trend hunt exercises.
  • Assist with audience research to identify key insights for content creation.
  • Learn about client expectations and communication best practices.
  • Help in developing engaging content calendars for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, comments, and messages.
  • Assist in engaging with the online community in a timely and professional manner, under supervision.
  • Help identify potential influencers and thought leaders.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement).
  • Support the team in preparing performance reports by gathering data.
  • Learn to utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, best practices, and algorithm changes, sharing insights with the team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.

 

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
  • Basic understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic analytical skills and a willingness to learn how to interpret data.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for social media and a desire to stay ahead of the curve.
