About the Role

What You’ll Do 

  • Creative Execution: Develop and refine visual elements, ensuring proper placement, context, and meaning within all creative outputs.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Client Service, Project Managers, and other creative staff to ensure timely delivery, project success, and effective communication.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry and advertising trends, applying them strategically to creative solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in commissioning and managing external illustrators, photographers, and other creative vendors.
  • Presentation & Approval: Prepare and present creative work to clients and internal stakeholders, securing necessary approvals.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Actively participate in brainstorms, contribute to business development efforts, and collaborate with the creative team to share knowledge and improve Ogilvy's creative product.
  • Quality Assurance: Partner with Account, Media, Project Management, and Production teams to enhance the quality, productivity, and profitability of the group's work.

What You’ll Need  

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related advertising/design program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer within a creative agency environment.
  • Portfolio: An exceptional and diverse portfolio demonstrating strong creative concepting, design, and art direction skills across various mediums.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to use industry-standard design software and tools effectively.
  • Creative Acumen: Well-versed in the history of design, art direction, and advertising, with a genuine passion for the advertising industry.
  • Versatility: Highly versatile in creative problem-solving and execution.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, taking initiative and contributing positively to office morale and culture.
