  • Navigating the Consumer Health Landscape: Developing a deep understanding of the Australian consumer healthcare sector – from over-the-counter medicines and nutrition to public health and disease awareness campaigns – and building relationships with key stakeholders, including media.
  • Financial Acumen: Gaining experience in managing project budgets, forecasting, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • New Business Development: Contributing actively to new business pitches, bringing fresh ideas and strategic input to expand our impact.
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Beginning to mentor junior team members and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.

  • Proven experience in PR or communications, ideally within the consumer health or health sectors (agency or in-house).
  • A foundational understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape, including the regulatory environment (e.g., Medicines Australia Code of Conduct) and its nuances.
  • Sharp analytical skills, particularly in social media and digital trends, to stay ahead of evolving consumer behaviours.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an eagle eye for detail and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Emerging leadership and client management capabilities, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a drive to develop strong client relationships.
  • A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute to an inclusive team culture,
  • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, always looking for new ways to push yourself creatively and strategically.
