About the Role  

At Ogilvy, we are seeking a Tech Account Supervisor for our PR & Influence department in our Madrid office. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a corporate supervisor position, possessing strategic capability, leadership, and communication skills, and able to integrate the best of traditional and digital communication. Experience in digital reputation management is highly valued. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Develop strategic corporate communication plans that translate tech clients' business needs and objectives into tangible and creative actions.
  • Maintain proactive and seamless communication with assigned clients, providing updates on progress, anticipating challenges, and identifying new opportunities within the tech sector.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key media outlets (both generalist and specialized in the technology and economic sectors), influencers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead and oversee the impeccable execution of tasks by their team, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines for each project.
  • Fluently draft and translate (primarily English-Spanish) a wide variety of high-value press materials and content: press releases, media alerts, press kits, Q&As, statements, thought leadership pieces, etc., always adapted to the language and tone of the tech sector.
  • Organize and manage corporate (press conferences, product/service presentations, analyst meetings, launch events) and virtual events, ensuring their success and visibility.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed results reports, including impact analysis, key metrics, and ROI (Return on Investment) for clients, interpreting data for continuous improvement.
  • Control and manage project budgets, seeking resource optimization and investment efficiency.

What You’ll Need 

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a corporate supervisor position within communication agencies.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Audiovisual Communication, or a similar field. Postgraduate degrees in Digital Marketing or Strategic Communication will be a plus.
  • High level of English (C1/C2), with the ability to draft complex content and hold business conversations
  • Excellent writing skills (in Spanish and English), impeccable spelling, strong public speaking and effective presentation skills
  • Tech Experience: Proven experience managing communication accounts and projects for technology companies, startups, or clients within the digital ecosystem
  • Highly Valued Additional Skills:
    • Strategic and proactive thinking, with the ability to anticipate trends and challenges in the tech sector.
    • Ability to analyze data and metrics for preparing impact reports and recommendations.
    • Leadership, team management, and motivation skills.

Conditions:

  • Permanent contract.
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:00 with a one-hour lunch break, and Fridays from 09:00 to 15:00. During July and August, working hours will be 09:00 to 15:00.
  • Location: Calle Ríos Rosas, 26, 28003 Madrid.
