The Role:

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Business Director. Reporting to the Managing Partner on Sprite, this role will be focusing on 360 campaign development for Sprite- one of the most iconic brands in the world – on the fastest growing account in the agency. The work is brand experience advertising designed to connect with our target audience and build long term relationships, which drive weekly drinking frequency.

Coca-Cola’s definition of experience is below.

The sum of purposeful interactions, otherwise known as Experience Activations, focused on a single strategic driver, and the emotional reaction this creates and the business impact it drives. They are end to end, across the entirety of a person’s engagement with our brands. They ensure we no longer have siloed, disconnected executions by ‘channel’, but rather consistent, connected, and cohesive experiences across any and alltouchpoints. They go beyond storytelling and aim to deliver real, meaningful human value. These are the experiences that collectively build and deliver a brand’s Persistent Platform.

You will be working within the WPP Open X model, where the role will involve working with other WPP operating companies, such as Essence MediaCom (end-to-end media thinking and channel planning) and VMLY&R Commerce (shopper comms).

TCCC have a very strong culture, which echoes Ogilvy’s own, and it’s a typically a fast-paced, exhilarating, high-energy, highly collaborative, and friendly working environment.

We’re looking for a candidate who has worked on global brands and campaigns before, who is equanimous, proactive, good at simplifying complexity, highly organised, with strong attention to detail.  It’s important you’re not fazed by the occasional early morning or evening call.

Ideally you will have a solid understanding of integrated strategy and are knowledgeable in creative development and production for advertising, social, and digital channels. You will lead large and complex projects, driving growth and delivering high-quality work. By design, it’s a blended team in terms of Advertising and Experience backgrounds – across all departments - so you will ideally have experience in both disciplines. You’ll also work very closely with our PR & Influencer and Social capability teams, taking a holistic view of projects and identify future opportunities, while also being able to think on your feet and act decisively as required to problem solve quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing strategic insights to help them achieve their goals.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication and ensuring client needs are being met on time and within budget.
Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of client projects and campaigns.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, collaborating with the agency's new business team to create and deliver compelling pitches.
Ensure client satisfaction by regularly tracking and reporting on campaign performance and making recommendations for optimization.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and share that knowledge with clients and the agency team.
Act as a brand steward for clients, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all campaigns and touchpoints.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in account management, marketing, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex marketing strategies across multiple channels.
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage team members.
