We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced People Advisor (HR Advisor) to join our team at the world's leading creative advertising agency. As a People Advisor, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for providing HR advice and support to our employees across the organisation. You will play a critical role in helping us to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring that our employees have the support and resources they need to excel in their roles.
This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a unique blend of work in the dynamic world of advertising and the specialist health sector. You'll be navigating a matrixed and complex organisational structure, delivering effective HR solutions and making a real impact.
We require a versatile individual who excels in navigating complexity and establishing effective structures and processes to overcome challenges. This requires a proactive approach and an innovative mindset, consistently seeking out new solutions and approaches. Collaboration is key, as this role entails working closely with teams and supporting areas beyond one's immediate responsibilities. Additionally, you possess a keen eye for enhancing the employee experience, actively identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with People Partners to implement impactful changes.
As a People Advisor, you will work closely with our HRBPs to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You will have the opportunity to partner with our business leaders to provide guidance on a wide range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
What You’ll Do
As a People Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to our employees and business leaders, providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs.
- Championing a positive, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
What You’ll Need
We're looking for someone with the ability to understand and respond effectively to the needs and perspectives of others. Someone who can confidently navigate complex situations and offer constructive challenges to stakeholders. You'll be able to take a broad perspective, making objective decisions that align with both employee well-being and business objectives.
- Experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and relevant legislation, including labour laws and equal employment opportunity regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop effective solutions.
