The Role:

Join our team as a Senior Producer, to drive creative moving image production. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the production process of Unilever brand campaigns from concept to completion, through the lens of Unilever’s AdPro policies and processes.

The Senior Producer will report to the Head of Production, working alongside key members of the account and leadership team. Immersed in a fast-paced creative environment, we are looking for someone with a love and knowledge of popular culture; a creative problem solver who is passionate about making exciting work.

This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional production skills and knowledge, and a deep understanding of both agency and production company production processes. You will be adept at delivering for TVC broadcast, social, digital and modular channels, comfortable managing both medium and large-scale productions, and possess the ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work.

You'll collaborate closely with global teams to craft and execute creative ideas that resonate with our brands. Your responsibilities will revolve around leading complex advertising campaign productions through the lifecycle of projects: managing clients, partners, timelines, budgets and resources, to ensure on-time and within-budget project deliveries. You will collaborate across markets, and departments to align projects with our overarching business objectives, embracing a culture of inclusivity and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead agency production processes from inception to final delivery, through the Unilever AdPro lens.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of leadership, account management team, writers, designers, and creative professionals to bring innovative concepts to life.
  • Lead on multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all creative work meets brand guidelines and maintains high-quality standards, valuing diverse perspectives in our creative output.
  • Develop and lead end-to-end agency production for Unilever integrated campaigns and supershoots, including TVC broadcast, digital, social and modular content, in line with campaign content strategy, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain good relationships with third-party production/post suppliers, and Unilever AdPro RAP team and brand contacts.
  • Champion Unilever AdPro Production processes, policies and guidelines, keeping abreast of developments (including Gen AI and supershoots), and share learnings with colleagues.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to projects’ success, and address challenges that arise during the production process.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, budgets, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate thoughtfully with colleagues and clients to understand their needs and offer creative solutions that resonate with audiences.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and implement best practices, celebrating diversity and inclusivity in our approach.
  • Oversee and mentor junior producers, production assistants, and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven previous experience as a Senior Advertising Agency and/or Production Company Producer
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and manage conflicts.
  • Understanding of production processes, budgeting, scheduling, and relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems, make quick decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and diverse client needs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of all project assets, including scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, and final deliverables.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently while valuing and promoting inclusivity. Expertise in budget management, financial tracking and reporting, ensuring equitable resource allocation.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, utilising technology to promote inclusivity and diversity.
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends, digital social best practices and formats, embracing diversity as a key driver of innovation.
  • Expertise in budget management and financial reporting, ensuring equitable resource allocation.
  • Resume and portfolio highlighting successful projects and campaigns.
