The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Client Partner to lead one of Ogilvy’s Top 10 accounts.
The large tech client is one of our biggest clients, where everyone plays to their strengths delivering award-winning campaigns.
We have developed strong client relationships which spans over 7 years working with their UK & European Teams supporting on Strategy, Creative, Advertising, Channel and Product marketing and Measurement.
Our Social & Influencer remit is growing fast, and we need strong individuals with experience in building and delivering brilliant social campaigns to join our team in London.
We’re looking for a senior leader with deep expertise in influencer marketing; someone who knows how to turn creators into advocates, build trusted client relationships. This is an opportunity to shape one of Ogilvy’s most exciting and high-growth areas, supported by leadership across the UK.
The Opportunity:
As the Social & Influence Client Partner, you will oversee the influencer and social workstreams for one of the biggest technology organisations across the UK. You’ll act as the senior client lead, responsible for driving influence strategy, overseeing delivery, and managing a high-performing team to execute “best in class” creator programmes that build brand equity in culture.
A key priority for this role will be to design and implement a relationship model for creators; developing systems that strengthen long-term partnerships and reward advocacy at scale. You’ll bring experience in building such frameworks, whether ambassador programmes, advocacy models, or affiliate-based structures, ideally across high creator volumes.
This position is ideal for someone with deep expertise in social media and influencer marketing. It is a leadership role that blends strategic, commercial, and creative thinking - perfect for someone who thrives on partnership, influence, and measurable impact on social.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the Social and Influence workstreams for large Tech offering within the UK, ensuring influencer marketing is embedded as a key driver of brand and business growth.
- Translate business goals into actionable influence strategies that deliver both cultural relevance and measurable outcomes.
Influence Programme Design & Management
- Build and scale innovative creator programmes, including developing an incentivisation framework to nurture long-term creator relationships and reward performance.
- Oversee creator identification, negotiation, contracting, and relationship management, ensuring brand alignment and authenticity across all partnerships.
Team & Capability Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of Social and Influence specialists to deliver campaigns with excellence, consistency, and cultural resonance.
- Champion process improvement and best practices for creator management, performance tracking, and reporting.
Client Partnership & Growth
- Act as the senior client lead, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across marketing, PR, and product teams.
- Confidently lead strategic conversations, advise on emerging trends, and identify new opportunities for influence to drive business impact.
Campaign Strategy & Delivery
- Oversee the planning and execution of influencer-led campaigns across lifestyle, tech, and culture verticals.
- Ensure creator activity integrates seamlessly with broader marketing efforts, including paid media, PR, and retail activations.
Creative & Cultural Excellence
- Collaborate with Strategy and Creative teams to deliver ideas that embed the clients culture through influence.
- Advocate for the craft of influence, inspiring creative thinking and pushing boundaries of what creator partnerships can achieve.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Oversee budgets, scopes, and forecasting across the account, ensuring profitability and operational excellence.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, identifying efficiencies and opportunities for growth.
Trend Monitoring & Thought Leadership
- Stay ahead of emerging creator economy trends, platform innovations, and cultural shifts.
- Share insights internally and externally to strengthen Ogilvy’s reputation as a leader in influence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex influencer campaigns and relationship programmes at scale, ideally with large consumer brands or across multiple markets
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and execution, with experience integrating influencer and social activations to drive performance and brand engagement
- Demonstrated success in building incentivisation or ambassador frameworks that nurture large creator ecosystems
- Strategic leader with a track record of connecting creators, content, and commerce to deliver measurable business results
- Confident client partner capable of leading senior relationships, steering strategic conversations, and managing multiple stakeholders
- Skilled at collaborating across advertising, media, PR, and production to deliver integrated work
- Strong commercial and operational acumen, with experience managing budgets, scopes, and revenue forecasting
- Inspiring leader who motivates teams, fosters collaboration, and upholds creative and delivery excellence
- Deep interest in culture, creators, and the evolving dynamics of the influencer economy
- Experience in consumer tech or device marketing preferred
