About the Role
Account Executive, Medical Publications – Precision & Process Driven
Are you someone who thrives on precision, expertly navigates complex publications workflows, and finds satisfaction in meticulously managing projects from inception to impactful delivery? Do you possess a deep understanding of publications management systems and a natural inclination for structured processes?
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Account Executive to join our dynamic team, focusing on a high-profile, ever-evolving medical publications account. This is a pivotal role at the heart of medical communications, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on critical scientific dissemination.
What You'll Do
You'll be instrumental in the seamless delivery of a high number of diverse projects annually, from abstracts and posters to manuscripts and slide presentations. This role offers continuous learning and professional growth, working closely with a supportive, expert team you can lean on.
A significant element of this role involves the expert use of publications planning software. This role would suit you if you possess an unwavering eye for detail, a passion for structured project management, and a proven ability to leverage publications management systems (such as Datavision) to drive successful outcomes. While experience with Datavision is highly advantageous, we will provide training and support to ensure you become proficient in our collaborative and consistent approach to publications management.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Meticulously managing project timelines and deliverables across a high volume of publications.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage of the publications lifecycle.
- Collaborating effectively with internal teams, clients, and authors to facilitate smooth project progression.
- Applying critical thinking to client and author communications, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment.
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges to keep projects on track and within scope.
About You
- You're an experienced Account Executive from a medcomms or meded agency background.
- You'll have familiarity or experience with publications management systems (e.g., Datavision, PubsHub, Veeva Promomats) OR similar complex project management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a natural inclination to double-check and verify every piece of work.
- A process-driven individual who thrives on structure, enjoys hitting deadlines, and celebrates the successful completion of tasks.
- Highly organised with effective time management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities seamlessly.
- A proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and responds promptly to new requests.
- An excellent communicator, confident in relaying information clearly to others and unafraid to seek clarification or support when needed.
- Keen to learn new systems and embrace evolving ways of working within a fast-paced environment.
