The opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior Social Creative Team who are the whole package, able to both concept high-level campaigns and platforms with a proven knack for creating and overseeing shareable Always-On content.

We’re not looking for a traditional ATL creative turning their hand to social. We're looking for a team with a book full of evidence of living and breathing social culture.

One day you may be delivering high-impact campaigns and strategies, the next you might be sweating the details of a single TikTok before consulting on a TV shoot. As a result, you’re as comfortable using Capcut as you are in the edit suite. Your experience allows you to flex across both worlds, and through your oversight teach others to do the same.

You’re confident presenters, used to lots of client contact (although we hope to spare you from the dreaded WhatsApp groups), with a knack for simplifying complex narratives across multiple platforms.

Do we expect you to be on the bleeding edge of every single new trend? It’s a nice to have, but we have tech for that and you’re probably quite busy. What's crucial is that you understand why something trends, why it matters, and how to harness that understanding to breathe life into a client's brand.

You understand we are an entertainment-first marketing discipline, while still packing the core creative punch of a big-agency talent. You understand the dreaded ‘best practice’, but more importantly you understand when to rip it to pieces.

About the team:

Our social media team are the growing horde of multi-disciplined creatives, designers, videographers and creators behind scroll-stopping work for the planet’s biggest brands.

Digital-native and fluent in meme, we’re the most awarded influencer agency in the world. We harness social chaos with Ogilvy UK’s unique creative craft in order to create online experiences that truly embrace culture.

As part of our dynamic roster, you’ll gain access to some of the brightest minds in the creative world to collaborate with – as well as the opportunity to work with our formidable Advertising and PR and Influence divisions to create work that truly cuts through.

Whether agonising over a single TikTok, or co-ordinating an omni-channel campaign that goes global, we never lose sight of what’s important - great ideas, executed beautifully.

How we help you thrive:

  •  25 days annual leave + 1 Volunteer Day
  • Bupa Healthcare
  • Enhanced Maternity, Adoption and Shared Parental Leave
  • We have a Flexible Working Model with core working hours: 10am – 4pm
  • A 1.5:1 Matching Pension Structure
  • Wellbeing and Health: Up to £25.00 per month towards physical or online exercise class membership plus Dental cover, Unmind membership, LifeWorks tool and annual eye tests and development budgets and Wellbeing incentives and activities throughout the year
  • Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Life Assurance

Our ambition is to attract the very best diverse talent to Ogilvy, and to be the employer of choice in the UK. We want everyone to feel welcome when they join us, and once they’re here, for them to want to stay with us, grow their career, and to feel they belong with us.

We are an equal opportunity employer and we’re committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone who wants to work at Ogilvy. For us, diversity, equity and inclusion is integrated into everything that we do. We believe that for creativity to flourish, everything about how we work must have diversity at its core. Your race, colour, ethnic, religion, gender, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, have no bearing on our hiring decisions, but we encourage everyone to feel free to express their true selves in an environment we are consistently striving to make as inclusive as possible.

We aim to facilitate an accessible and positive application experience for all candidates. If you require any adjustments from us to support you through the process or expect to require any adjustments to working conditions to be able to best perform in the role, please let us know. We are happy to consider all reasonable adjustments.

If you live with a disability and you would like to take advantage of our offer of a guaranteed interview under the Disability Confident Scheme, please ensure you fill out our voluntary Equal Opportunities Questionnaire when applying.
