The Opportunity:

Ohalo™ is seeking a strategic and hands-on Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. As Ohalo’s second Finance hire, you will play a central role in shaping Ohalo’s forecasting, budgeting, and decision support capabilities as we scale our manufacturing and commercial operations. 

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends analytical rigor with business partnership. You’ll work closely with teams across R&D, production, and commercial operations to drive insight and accountability - while helping to design financial processes and models to support Ohalo’s growth. 

We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys digging into data, and wants to help build a finance function from the ground up. This is a foundational role with clear growth opportunities as we expand our finance function.

Responsibilities:

• FP&A and Budgeting: Develop and manage budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analyses. Ensure that spending remains aligned with approved budgets and identify optimization strategies for leadership.
• Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams, helping guide resource allocation and performance tracking.
• Strategic Analysis: Support ROI (return on investment) analyses, KPI (key performance indicator) reporting, and operational benchmarking to support capital planning, make-vs-buy decisions, and scaling opportunities.

Candidate Profile 

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking or private equity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• Strong modeling and Excel/Sheets skills; familiarity with PowerQuery and ERP tools.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, unstructured environments and eager to build processes from scratch.

Bonus Experience

• Finance experience in agtech, biotech, hardtech, or a manufacturing environment.

The anticipated pay range for this role is $105,000 - $135,000 per year for our San Francisco location.  The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
