ACCEL Schools uses a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, which can be accessed online and through a variety of traditional methods.
Please note – while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.
ELIGIBILITY: This position is open to residents of Ohio.

About the Opportunity:
The Third Grade Reading Guarantee Support Specialist will support the district initiative for the Third Grade Reading Guarantee. The Support Specialist responsibilities include:

Managing the Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plans (RIMPS) across the K-3 division.

Creating initial RIMP based on diagnostic student data

Communicating with grade-level teachers to obtain appropriate data
-
Sending completed RIMPS to OHDELA families to obtain signature
-
Obtaining grade-level teacher signatures on RIMPs
-
Communicating purpose and goals of RIMPS to OHDELA families as necessary
-
Organizing RIMPS in Shared Drive
-
Entering all Progress Monitoring Data in E-School database
-
Obtaining bi-weekly progress monitoring data from RIMPs
-
Reporting and updating data and intervention/instructional strategies in E-school for individual RIMPs
-
Communicating with classroom teachers, as necessary

Attending and Completing Initial Training for E-School data entry and process
-
Attending any possible statewide trainings on RIMPS process, as necessary for role

Roles and responsibilities are subject to change to address needs related to the district’s K-3 literacy program. ***Ohio residence is required for this position. ***
