About the Opportunity

As a Senior iOS Engineer at OKX, you will play a key role in creating an outstanding crypto investment experience for our users. You'll have the opportunity to work on innovative features such as trading markets, enhancing trading experiences, and developing social and Web3 functionalities for crypto enthusiasts. We are hiring at both the Senior and Staff levels, offering you the chance to make a significant impact while working on high-impact projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate as part of our global mobile team to develop and enhance new features for our native iOS app.
  • Focus on performance optimization and work to deliver a seamless user experience that maximizes customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and evaluate cutting-edge solutions that address our dynamic and fast-growing business requirements.
  • Partner closely with design and product teams to transform creative design concepts into scalable features, catering to a global audience of millions.
  • Work alongside global development teams to deliver tailored solutions for international users while ensuring consistency with the overall system architecture.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and improve collaboration efficiency across different offices and time zones.

What We Look For In You

  • Experience: 5+ years in iOS mobile development with a strong grasp of Swift, iOS SDK, common design patterns, and a deep understanding of UIKit components.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with the iOS networking layer, including sockets, TCP/IP, and HTTP protocols. Strong proficiency in Swift/Objective-C programming, coupled with a solid understanding of common data structures and network programming.
  • Development Practices: A firm believer in agile methodologies, including TDD, CI, and Scrum.
  • Passion for Technology: A genuine enthusiasm for mobile technology and a track record of building applications for a large user base.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across different offices and time zones.
  • Location Flexibility: For candidates based in the Bay Area, we offer a hybrid work schedule (2+3 or 3+2 in-office/WFH), with our office located in San Jose.

OKX Statement

The base salary range for this position is $198,000 to $280,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
