About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Risk Manager to join the Enterprise Risk Team to build and scale an effective global risk management program. We’re looking for a risk management professional with technology and digital asset expertise. You will join OKX's Enterprise Risk team and partner with colleagues across Compliance, Legal, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, Product, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management program, focusing on risk assessments, internal controls, and effective reporting to Board and management committees. You will report to OKX' Group Head of Enterprise Risk Strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Execute a robust enterprise-wide risk assessment program that comprehensively assesses strategic, operational, financial, third-party, and digital asset-specific risks; ensuring that risk management is embedded across all business units and functions within the organization.
  • Execute the Risk and Control Self Assessment [RCSA] program for the company, to document the risk and controls at a global and local entity level.
  • Streamline how policies are managed throughout the company, i.e. make sure global/local policies are consistent and efficiently designed and risk/ control information related to these policies is updated in the GRC system. In addition, manage the policy lifecycle of policies.
  • Support the preparation of regular and ad-hoc standardized and visually compelling risk reports for ERM governance, boards, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the tracking and documentation of risks, controls and mitigating actions within the GRC system of record, Workiva.
  • Partner with compliance, security, finance, product, engineering, and other teams to integrate risk management principles into daily operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute key risk initiatives and cross functional risk projects as needed.
  • Support increasing risk awareness across the organization through business interactions, risk awareness sessions etc.

What We Look For In You 

  • Experience in enterprise risk management, compliance or audit function.
  • Proven experience in project and program management, conducting risk assessments, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks and policy management.
  • Experience with GRC systems on a global scale, ideally with Workiva
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor reporting to different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in / knowledge of the digital asset space (cryptocurrency, blockchain) is highly desirable.
  • Chinese/Mandarin fluency preferred.
