About the Opportunity
The Finance Governance Lead will establish and oversee the Finance Governance function for OKG, driving the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the framework of financial controls, policies, procedures, and documentation standards across all finance operations functions. This role ensures that finance operations are conducted with integrity, transparency, and efficiency—aligned with internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and leading industry practices—while adapting to the dynamic and evolving cryptocurrency environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

Define, implement, and continuously assess a comprehensive finance governance framework encompassing controls, policies, SOPs, and documentation standards.

Establish governance standards that ensure data integrity and consistency across all finance operations functions.

Partner with internal audit, compliance, and risk teams to monitor and address gaps in governance or controls.

Partner with cross functional teams to embed governance practices into daily workflows.

Proactively identify leading finance governance practices and emerging risks within crypto finance operations and develop mitigation strategies.

Draft, maintain, and update financial policies and SOPs to reflect best practices, regulatory changes, and organizational priorities.

Ensure proper dissemination, training, and adoption of finance governance policies across global teams.

Standardize documentation processes to drive consistency, transparency, and audit readiness.

Lead governance-related projects, driving alignment across functions and geographies.

Monitor effectiveness of governance frameworks through metrics, reporting, and feedback mechanisms.
What We Look For In You

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or similar certification preferred.

10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company.

Expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and any application region specific financial regulations.

Deep knowledge of financial control frameworks, policy management, and regulatory requirements.

Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting.

Proven ability to balance governance discipline with flexibility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Proven experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and automation tools.

Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The salary range for this position is $214,666 - $250,444

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
