What You’ll Be Doing

Lead real-time oversight of critical trading infrastructure including mark pricing, liquidation systems, and insurance fund performance. Act as the primary escalation point for risk incidents, investigate root causes, and coordinate cross-functional resolution under tight timelines.

Continuously analyze market conditions to identify optimization opportunities for risk control parameters. Develop data-driven recommendations that strengthen loss prevention and enhance insurance fund growth.

Monitor risk indicators and market data to detect anomalies before they escalate. Implement rapid response protocols and risk control measures when potential risks are identified.

Partner with product and technical teams to identify malicious user behavior. Implement risk restrictions on bad actors and coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams.

Demonstrate expertise across all trading models (spot, futures, margin). Perform detailed reconciliation of transactions, PNL calculations, fees, and liquidation outcomes. Support dispute resolution and billing accuracy verification.

Design and improve risk escalation SOPs to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk Operations, and Product/Technology teams on complex risk issues.
Work Arrangements:

5 days a week

Shift A: 1:30am to 9:30am Fridays to Tuesdays

Shift B: 6:00pm to 2:00am Mondays to Wednesdays, 9:00am to 6:00pm Weekends

Shift C: 1:30am to 9:30am Wednesdays & Thursdays, 6:00pm to 2:00am Fridays to Sundays
What We Look For In You
-
Strong understanding of crypto trading strategies, attack vectors, and market manipulation patterns (e.g., pump-and-dump, wash trading, flash crashes).

3+ years of experience in Risk Management, preferably in the trading domain.

Strong sensitivity to data, with excellent data analysis skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent logical thinking and a team player who takes ownership.

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings to solve problems and achieve goals aligned with the team's objectives.
Nice-To-Haves
-
Personal trading experience or education in financial risk management.

Data Analysis skills, with extensive experience using Excel, SQL, Python and other tools.
-
Proficiency in Mandarin is an added bonus as you might cross functionally collaborate with tech individuals that can only speak Mandarin.
