About The Opportunity

OKX Malta is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Analyst (MiCA, P5) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with proven compliance expertise to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving MiCA regulatory landscape within crypto financial services. The role is critical in strengthening our compliance framework by leading monitoring programs, product reviews, policy updates, and regulatory engagements to support OKX's global operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Planning, including ensuring having a well maintained Compliance Monitoring Programme ('CMP')
  • Execute CMP testing by performing thematic reviews and all necessary follow-ups from such outcomes
  • Assist cross-functional teams on ad hoc requests
  • Review new products and services to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Provide training to enable adequate levels of compliance knowledge and awareness
  • Perform necessary regulatory research to ensure products and internal controls and processes are compliant with the relevant regulatory obligations
  • Review regulatory updates / changes, identifying any new or emerging compliance needs
  • Perform gap analysis from any regulatory updates and assess the impact on policies, standards, procedures, or guidelines
  • Update policies, standards, procedures, or guidelines  as necessary
  • Compliance reporting, including  maintenance of registers and raising any deficiencies to senior management
  • Assist the Head of Compliance with any regulatory engagement with Competent Authorities

Candidate Profile:
  • University graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Law, Economics, Accountancy or any other similar field of study
  • Have 3+ years working in a compliance role within financial services
  • Ideally have experience in MiCA or MiFID or Payment Services (PSD2), or any other area within financial services such as Banking, Insurance, Funds/ Fund Management or Investment Firms
