About the Opportunity

The Enterprise Compliance Project Manager will drive the execution of cross-functional initiatives that sit at the intersection of Compliance, Product, and Engineering. Reporting to the Compliance PMO Lead (or Senior Program Manager), this role is responsible for hands-on project delivery, Agile execution, and coordination of regulatory and product-driven initiatives from intake through implementation.
The ideal candidate brings experience managing Jira-based Agile delivery, understands product development lifecycles, and has worked on compliance or regulatory initiatives within a regulated environment. This role is execution-focused, requiring strong ownership of delivery plans, dependencies, and stakeholder coordination across Compliance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Operations.

Key Objectives

  • Deliver compliance initiatives on time by actively managing scope, backlog, dependencies, and execution.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are embedded into product development and release processes.
  • Maintain delivery rigor through Jira, Agile ceremonies, project plans, and standardized reporting.
  • Improve cross-functional alignment between Compliance and Product teams to reduce delivery friction.
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and delivery readiness.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead day-to-day delivery for compliance and product initiatives, including AML, KYC/CIP, sanctions, privacy, regulatory change, internal tooling, and compliance-by-design product enhancements.
  • Own and manage Jira boards across multiple workstreams, including:
    • Backlog creation and prioritization in partnership with Product and Compliance
    • Sprint planning, sprint tracking, and retrospectives
    • Dependency and cross-team coordination
  • Apply Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional project management approaches based on initiative needs and team maturity.
  • Translate compliance and regulatory requirements into actionable product and engineering delivery plans.
  • Develop and maintain delivery artifacts, including project plans, timelines, RAID logs, action trackers, and status dashboards.
  • Facilitate recurring project and delivery forums such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, release planning, and stakeholder status meetings.
  • Coordinate readiness activities including UAT, go-live checklists, cutover planning, and post-launch validation.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies with recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to align compliance requirements with product roadmaps and release schedules.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready status updates and dashboards for compliance and delivery leadership.
  • Contribute to PMO standards, templates, and delivery best practices across compliance and product initiatives.

What We Look For In You

  • 4–6 years of experience in project or program management, delivery management, or PMO roles.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives involving Product, Compliance,and Business stakeholders.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing Jira for Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of product development lifecycles and how engineering teams operate.
  • Working knowledge of compliance domains such as AML, KYC, sanctions, privacy, or regulatory change management.
  • Experience managing hybrid delivery models (Agile + waterfall).
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives.
  • Clear, structured communication skills with experience presenting delivery updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Operations, Compliance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, crypto, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with compliance-by-design or embedding regulatory requirements into product workflows.
  • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, ACP) or Jira certifications.
  • Exposure to regulatory exams, audits, or remediation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-region product launches with regulatory considerations.
  • Interest in growing into a senior compliance or product program leadership role.

The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $160,000 (applicable to CA, NY and NJ)
 
The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
