About the Opportunity
The OKX Central Risk function is responsible for overall risk management covering financial risk, enterprise risk, operational risk, fraud risk, regulatory risk, quantitative model development, and model validation. We’re deeply committed to the top risk standards of the crypto industry, protecting the company from financial, regulatory and reputational risks. Our team consists of seasoned risk professionals who are based across our global offices.
We are seeking a versatile Senior Regulatory Risk Manager to join our regulatory risk team. You will be mainly responsible for regulatory risk governance (frameworks, policies, assessments, etc) and regulatory change management oversight, in addition to the adhoc support of ongoing initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Risk, the ideal candidate brings either relevant experience from a digital asset global player or a top-tier Bank or Exchange Group with global exposure.
What You’ll Be Doing

In this position, you will support and oversee our regulatory change management process for projects impacting the region.

Draft, review, and update regulatory risk standards, and operating procedures as relevant, ensuring they remain fit-for-purpose as the business continues to scale globally.

Work closely with risk colleagues in financial risk (market, credit, liquidity) and other risk stripes to identify any potential regulatory risks as an expert SME.

Act as the regional representative for the regulatory risk team to support the US and Americas risk teams, identifying any potential regulatory risks.

You will work very closely with global colleagues from legal, compliance, and corporate affairs and support efforts in licensing, regulatory engagement, policy discussions, new product initiatives, etc.
What We Look For In You
- Advanced Degree: Master’s or JD in Law preferred.
- Professional Certifications: CAMS, CRCM, or equivalent industry certifications are a plus.
- Global Strategic Leadership: 8+ years of experience in regulatory risk management within Tier 1 financial services or global (crypto) exchanges.

Cross-Border Expertise: Deep understanding of global frameworks (e.g., US CFTC/SEC, EU MiCA/MIFID, UK FCA, Singapore MAS).

Strong knowledge of derivatives products and US regulations (CFTC, NFA, SEC) are a plus.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to draft comprehensive and sound policy documents and procedures that stand up to external scrutiny, as well as risk assessments.

Proven track record of success within a large, multinational financial institution

Ability to navigate complex reporting lines and balance local US regulatory mandates with global corporate strategy

The salary range for this position is $178,000 - $214,000

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
