Who We Are

At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom. OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves. Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er. OKX is part of OKG, a group that brings the value of Blockchain to users around the world, through our leading products OKX, OKX Wallet, OKLink and more.

About the Opportunity

The Fiat team builds the money experiences of OKX. Beyond the payment rails — fiat deposits, withdrawals, and payment methods across 100+ markets — we own Simple Buy/Sell, the front door to crypto for both onshore and offshore markets, and Cards & Pay, the products taking OKX into the money app category and giving customers a whole new reason to connect with us. We sit inside the Bay Area AI-Native Product & Engineering Center: we don't just use AI tools, we build agent harnesses, evaluation pipelines, and automation that lets a small team ship like a large one. We're looking for a front-end engineer who is sharp, curious, data-driven, and believes most "impossible" things simply haven't been automated yet.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and ship the money experiences of OKX — fiat deposit/withdraw, Simple Buy/Sell for onshore and offshore markets, and Cards & Pay —the surfaces used by millions of users.
  • Build AI-native engineering infrastructure: agent harnesses, reusable skills, E2E automation, and evaluation pipelines that multiply the whole team's output.
  • Make the product data-driven: instrument what you ship, build the tracking and experimentation foundations yourself when they don't exist, and let the numbers decide.
  • Drive frontend quality end-to-end — architecture, performance, testing, and server-driven UI systems that stay backward-compatible in production.
  • Work directly with product, design, and backend teams across the US and APAC to turn ambiguous requirements into shipped features.
  • Contribute tooling, patterns, and practices beyond your own team — what you build should raise the bar for the wider engineering group.

What We Look For In You

  • Strong computer science fundamentals and frontend essentials — TypeScript, React, modern toolchains (Vite), browser internals, and state management. Depth beyond framework APIs.
  • A good sense of web performance, responsive design, and web security — you build experiences that are fast, adaptive across devices, and safe by default.
  • Hands-on creativity with AI-assisted development: you've built things around models — agents, harnesses, MCP tools, eval loops, CI gates — not just used autocomplete.
  • Sharp problem-solving: you root-cause ambiguous problems quickly and make sound calls with incomplete information.
  • Self-driven and resilient: you learn faster than expected, push hard deliveries through to completion, and contribute beyond your own scope.
  • A conviction that decisions should be data-driven — and the willingness to get your hands dirty building the instrumentation and infrastructure when it doesn't exist yet.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field from a strong program, or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required to communicate effectively with our engineering and product teams across APAC.

Nice to Haves

  • You've shipped developer tooling, design systems, or open-source work that other engineers adopted.
  • Familiarity with server-driven UI, module federation, or large-scale frontend library architecture.
  • E2E automation experience with Playwright — bonus points if you've taught an AI agent to write and maintain the tests for you.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or trading products.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
