About the Opportunity

  • We're looking for a commercially-minded Product & Strategy Director to shape and grow the OKX product offering in Australia.
  • This is not a traditional Product Manager role with ownership of engineering teams, sprint planning, or technical delivery. Instead, you’ll sit at the intersection of product strategy, customer engagement, and commercial growth, helping ensure our global product offering succeeds locally.
  • You'll work closely with sophisticated traders, institutional customers, and global Product teams to understand customer needs, design solutions using the existing OKX product suite, and translate market opportunities into product requirements and business cases where new capabilities are needed.
  • As the bridge between the Australian business and global Product teams, you'll influence product direction, drive successful launches, and lead the local Product & Strategy function to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and commercial growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the local product strategy, representing the needs of the Australian market and influencing global product priorities through customer insights, commercial opportunities, and market trends
  • Develop a deep understanding of sophisticated trader and institutional customer workflows, trading strategies, pain points, and unmet needs to identify opportunities to improve customer experience, adoption, retention, and product engagement
  • Partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand complex use cases, identify product gaps, and represent the voice of the customer throughout product discussions
  • Design practical customer solutions using the existing OKX product suite, and where required, translate customer requirements into clear product requirements, business cases, and feature proposals for global Product teams
  • Own and drive local management of product and feature launches, including go-to-market planning, internal enablement, customer communications, and post-launch performance analysis
  • Develop clear product positioning, messaging, educational content, and launch communications that help customers better understand and adopt our products
  • Act as the primary liaison between Australian teams and global Product & Engineering teams for product feedback, operational issues, launch readiness, roadmap discussions, and feature prioritisation
  • Work closely with Growth and Marketing teams to drive stronger adoption and engagement across existing products and features, ensuring customers clearly understand and realise the value of the OKX ecosystem
  • Lead the local Product & Strategy function, setting priorities across product strategy, customer discovery, growth initiatives, and strategic projects while developing and supporting team members
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Risk, Business Development, and Customer Support teams to ensure products are commercially effective, operationally scalable, and aligned to customer needs

What We Look For In You

  • 6+ years' experience in Product Strategy, Product Management, Solutions Consulting, Strategy, or related roles within cryptocurrency, fintech, trading platforms, capital markets, or financial services
  • Strong product thinking, commercial acumen, and customer empathy, with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of crypto and financial markets, trading products, and customer workflows, with the ability to engage credibly with sophisticated traders and institutional customers
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer requirements into practical product solutions, detailed product requirements, and compelling business cases
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps and working effectively with Product and Engineering teams, without necessarily owning technical delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, executives, and technical stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data, customer insights, and commercial reasoning to influence decision-making
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing high-performing teams is highly desirable
  • Highly proactive and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with significant cross-functional collaboration
  • A genuine passion for understanding customer behaviour and building products that create meaningful value for sophisticated traders and institutional customers

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
