What You’ll Get to Do

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is focused on the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and equipment and reports to the Director of Manufacturing. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about optimizing operations, driving continuous improvement, and mentoring technical teams. A vital member of the Manufacturing team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and implement innovative manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and TPS tools. Apply lean principles, quality systems, statistical tools, and procedures.
  • Teach and coach team members on Value Stream Mapping processes, time studies, Kaizen events, Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, Job Element Sheets, root cause analysis using 5-Why, Cause & Effect Diagram, A3 tools, New Product Introduction (NPI) validation, creating test validation plans, Gauge Studies, and statistical analysis.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience with Toyota Production Systems, quality systems, and lean concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
  • Experience with quality tools such as PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, Gauge R&R, statistical analysis, and A3.
  • Certifications such as CQM, ISO 9000/TS-16949 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Position Pay Range

$83,000 - $103,000 USD
