What You’ll Get to Do

The Associate, Product Designer plays a vital role on our Product Development team, supporting the design, development, and enhancement of architectural window, entrance, and glazing systems.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, technically curious, and collaborative, and who enjoys turning concepts into real‑world building products. You will work closely with product management, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams, contributing throughout the product lifecycle from concept through testing, documentation, and market launch.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the design and development of new and existing architectural aluminum fenestration systems
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D component designs, assemblies, and product configurations using Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
  • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for production.
  •  Assist with engineering change documentation and revision control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing

What We Are Looking For

  • 0–3 years of experience in a design, drafting, or product development role, preferably within architectural aluminum, glazing systems, or building products.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite.)
  • Understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.    
  • Working knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
