What You’ll Get to Do
The Lead Assembler is focused on leading and training personnel in a manner consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures. This role supports the department supervisor in the day-to day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) to efficiently, safely and effectively achieve performance targets. In addition, implementing and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The Fabrication Tech Lead will report to the Production Supervisor.
This role is perfect for an individual who is self-motivated, pays attention to detail (safety, quality and efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability and a great communicator. A vital member of the Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Ability to perform the Assembler tasks and responsibilities
- Willingness to show/teach others as defined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or Job Element Sheets (JES)
- Leader of Safety, Quality and Performance
- Verify that all personnel, prior to shift start, are wearing the correct safety equipment and safety awareness is maintained throughout the shift
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum (2) years manufacturing experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic understanding of equipment and operation
- Demonstrates problem analysis, resolution/critical thinking skills
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floor for eight or more hours.
- Must be able to wear company issued safety shirt, hard hat, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Position Pay Range
$29 - $29 USD
