What You’ll Get to Do

The Shipping Loader/Unloader is focused on preparing our products for delivery and reports to the Production Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, is a team player and has excellent attendance.

Job responsibilities include:

• Pull customer pick up orders and load on truck
• Move packed doors and load trucks for delivery to customers. 
• Use a hand pallet and/or motorized pallet jack
• Pull orders and prepare them for shipment which includes verifying orders before they are shipped (shipping address, quantity, etc.)
• Reading written instructions and taking verbal directions
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under time constraints
• Wear all personal protective equipment including hard hats, steel toe boots with metatarsals, safety glasses, ear plugs, Kevlar sleeves and long pants
• Must be able to adhere to all safety protocol
• Ability to read a tape measure to a 1/32”
• Basic computer skills 
• Loading and unloading trailer correctly to ensure delivery of material in good condition
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and assist with general housekeeping in the Shipping Department

What We Are Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; ability to work overtime when required
• Work performed inside a production environment
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor
• Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high
• The plant facility is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
