Role: Senior Project Manager (12 Month-FTC)

Location: Hybrid / London (Blackfriars) - required onsite 2-3 times per week.

 

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

OLIVER is a rapidly expanding global creative services agency with a twist: we provide our clients with bespoke dedicated agencies that operate from within their offices. It’s a dynamic, fast paced, solutions-focused start-up environment that brings client and agency closer together to co-create more effective and efficient work.

You will be working on one of our flagship FMCG accounts. We're looking for an SPM who has experience working on beauty / cosmetics / wellbeing accounts, either agency or client side.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • You will develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, their needs, expectations and requirements to help advise on the optimal solution.
  • You will then ensure everything runs smoothly end to end from scoping and estimation, through contracting and work authorization, resourcing and development, all the way to acceptance, invoicing and collections.
  • You must be very technically minded with proven ability to work effectively with globally distributed creative and production teams, able to interpret client specifications and direct teams to deliver on time, on budget and with the highest quality.
  • You must also be able to partner closely with and collaborate effectively with the client’s other vendors and suppliers.
  • You will also ensure that new challenges and requirements from the client are fully understood by the team
  • You will participate in solution development as the engagement evolves.
  • You will be comfortable making decisions, adjusting budgets and managing resources and related project governance consistent with the U-Studio tiering structure (Tier 1 is basic execution, Tier 2 is creative execution and Tier 3 is strategic execution).
  • You will know when to escalate issues and be proactive in resolving problems.
  • You will be able to focus on the entire project lifecycle rather than what is happening right now.
  • You’ll be able to scope and manage complex projects, know when to request help and how to take charge in challenging situations.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Strong creative campaign delivery and/or agency experience.
  • Experience working on beauty / cosmetics / wellbeing accounts, either agency or client side
  • Production experience is ideal.
  • Creative and technically-minded in nature - we don’t expect you to know how to code or expect you to come up with the next big idea, but you must be comfortable understanding the world in which these disciplines operate.
  • Strong client facing experience with the ability to instil confidence in the solutions and selected approach.
  • Able to effectively navigate conflict with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute with experience implementing to a statement of work within a master services agreement context and meeting stringent financial targets.
  • Clear and concise communicator, to all levels of stakeholders both with clients and with Oliver.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to manage schedule, scope, burn, resources and risk proactively and decisively.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate people, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role on the project and someone who seeks solutions rather than just reporting problems.
  • Understanding of how the program fits strategically for Unilever and for Oliver.
  • Client-side or In-house agency experience
  • Recognised delivery qualifications such as Prince 2 or Agile SCRUM
  • FMCG experience
  • Strategic thinker
  • Flexible and adaptable
