Role: Senior Social Media Manager

Location: Hybrid, 1 day per week in Slough, London

 

About the role:

As part of our growing team, we’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join our team, to manage the social media accounts of a global business, involving the development of strategy, creative concepts, content and campaign implementation. This role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency will have an advantage. Working as part of the ENERGY Studios team, you will be supporting the Global Durex social media activity, primarily through Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, engaging the target audience and bringing to life their ideas and ambitions.

  • Creative & design
  • Content production & post
  • Paid & optimisation 

We are currently looking for someone with 3+ year's brand experience to manage social networks. This is a great opportunity for a level headed, strategic thinker, who has gravitas with a client. The success of the role will rely on your ability to spot opportunities to help clients achieve their business ambitions.  

The ideal candidate understands and communicates the brand to support its mission, engage its target audience and bring to life their ideas and ambitions, but also understands the strict guidelines to respect and ensures consistency and accuracy across all messaging. This is about engaging, building and proactively managing a positive social media community for a large global corporate organisation. You must bring a social insights, a creative flair and excellent written and analytical skills. 

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for fostering and building a social community primarily through Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. 
  • Work in collaboration with the dedicated ENERGY Studio for the Reckitt account (including a Digital Strategist and Community Manager), as well as creative and brand teams to deliver best-in-class performance campaigns
  • Lead the Durex brand strategically across social channels working closely with the Senior Digital Strategist in the team
  • Make regular recommendations based on best practices, trends and performance, staying up to date with the latest industry innovations  
  • Support the client on building dashboards and planning for campaigns, analyse performance reports, identify learnings and report back to the in-house creative team 

What you need to be great in this role:

Most importantly, this role requires a courteous, positive and high-energy individual with great people skills. We value hard work, and we want to have fun doing it. The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social agencies, and must excel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work, across planning, strategy and media. Experience in managing global social accounts would be a must. An editorial background and creative skills such as Photoshop would be an advantage.
