Role: Product Specialist

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Product Specialist will provide a service in analysing, assembling, and maintaining vehicle specification data and assets, to ensure the content created and used is both product and market-correct, and for use in direct marketing and web & digital-based media.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

The Product Information (P.I.) team includes a team of specialists, whom each have carline allocations, a Quality Checker, and a Cybrarian who handles the approved asset processing work to ensure we deliver the high quality expected from our client. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Create, update and maintain a variety of vehicle specifications, and product and material lists, by extracting information from Client-supplied technical, engineering and marketing documentation and order guides 
  • Create, update and maintain copy addendum documents containing carline key bulletpoints, and subsequent input from Word to Adobe InCopy 
  • Act as a point of contact between the Product Information and Client Services teams, and Client for any product or technical query resolution 
  • Validate Client Services briefs and add amends, based on Client-supplied documentation 
  • Attend and, in rare cases, lead Client meetings to identify, define and advise gathered product expertise on both new and update level projects 
  • Attend internal scrum meetings and act as a point of contact for PI for your allocated carline(s) 
  • Liaise with various teams during the creation and updating of CGI-created product variant assets 
  • Product check assets produced and, where applicable upload to in-house tool for Client approval 
  • Create or product check briefs and mark-up’s for Still imagery or Animation content, collate references and add to briefing ticket, ready for CGI or Postproduction creation 
  • Input and change management of Still imagery or Animation content metadata 
  • Create and maintain asset matrices and trackers in Excel to track asset status from creation to client approval
  • Assist Cybrarian with external agency asset requests
  • Where appropriate and required product-check vehicles prior to reference gathering photography, which may require off-site visits.
