About the role: 

We're seeking a highly strategic and client-facing Influencer Director to lead the development and launch of our in-house influencer marketing service. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Social, you'll be a pioneer, shaping Oliver's influencer marketing offering and establishing us as a leader in this dynamic field. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Develop and launch Oliver's influencer marketing service: Craft a compelling proposition that integrates seamlessly within the existing Oliver offering, outlining the value proposition for our clients. 
  • Lead and manage a team of influencer marketing specialists: Build and empower a talented team to deliver exceptional results for clients. 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive influencer marketing strategies: Craft data-driven influencer marketing campaigns tailored to diverse clients across various industries. 
  • Client Management & Business Development: Secure new business and manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations. 
  • Identify and partner with top-tier influencers: Develop a deep understanding of influencer ecosystems across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc.) to identify the most relevant and engaging partners for each campaign. 
  • Negotiate contracts and manage influencer relationships: Secure mutually beneficial partnerships with influencers, fostering strong and collaborative relationships. 
  • Oversee content creation and brand alignment: Ensure content aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals while maximizing influencer creativity. 
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance: Utilize data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness (reach, engagement, conversions) and present insights to clients. 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices: Continuously research and implement cutting-edge influencer marketing strategies. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencer agencies and platforms: Establish strategic partnerships across the influencer marketing landscape. 
  • Collaborate with other departments: Work seamlessly with creative, social media, and analytics teams to ensure a holistic campaign approach. 
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with a proven track record of success. 
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, including different platforms, influencer tiers, content formats, and ROI measurement. 
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage both clients and influencers. 
  • Proven commercial acumen and business development experience. 
  • Data-driven approach with a strong understanding of campaign analytics. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. 
  • Passion for social media and digital marketing trends. 
  • A creative and strategic mindset with a knack for storytelling. 
  • Experience managing a team (a plus). 
  • You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role
  • Bonus Points: 
    • Experience working with influencer platforms and tools. 
    • Knowledge of specific industries relevant to Oliver Marketing's client base. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
