Role: Integrated Motion Designer

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Integrated Designer to join our team, working with a large Dynamic B2B travel client. Working in true collaboration with our client, we have one goal in mind: ‘to be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective visual communications’. This role will be underpinned by passion, ambition and an open mind to what is requested of us by the client. The Integrated Designer will work on a variety of projects, across digital, print, social content, motion, experiential going from the initial brief through to completion. The Integrated Designer should be confident when working within brand guidelines, as the initial work will all be around repurposing and uplifting content to a new global brand. The work will be varied, ranging from simple branding jobs to the creation of assets into a new channel, through to full creative delivery with support of the Design Director.

What you will be doing:

  • A versatile skill set which can demonstrate design flair in digital and print across a range of platforms.
  • Producing design/ideas to the client’s brief and exacting standards from the outset until completion.
  • Interpreting how existing content can be uplifted and shifted to new global brand visual identity while adding design flair.
  • Positively influencing clients with creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative concepts.
  • Create inspiring and exciting content – from repurposing, reformatting of assets to ideation.
  • Strong typography, layout, and technical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lean in to PPT presentations and more production lead work when needed.
  • Analytical skills to dissect briefs, clear comprehension of objectives and skills to make suggestions/challenges to uphold the integrity of the design/brand.
  • Understand how best to visually set communication hierarchies to engage with the audience.
  • Build clear rationales to accompany the work.
  • Skills to know how best to use supplied assets to create fresh content, and how to elevate and push established global campaigns for the digital channels we will focus on.
  • Be an entrepreneurial lead on the development of creative and output.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A portfolio that exhibits an impeccable eye for typography, hierarchy, well art directed layouts, campaign ideas with excellent attention to detail. Work that is both beautiful to look at and performs a clear communicative function.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Digital, Social, Print and Production.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite & FIGMA.
  • Good understanding of responsive design, digital design systems and modular design for both web and email.
  • Experience in creating static designs and animation storyboard designs for social media and digital display banners and a portfolio that shows relevant examples.
  • An understanding of graphic design, typography, and digital standards / best practice.
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. Confidential
  • Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
  • Ability to interpret marketing ideas and turn them into visual reality at a best-in-class level.
  • Motion, animation and video editing skills using After Effects & Premiere Pro nice to have.
