Role: Marketing Campaign Manager (FTC - 6 months)

About the role:

As an experienced and expert Campaign Marketing Manager, ideally with Financial Services experience, you’ll quickly slot right into this fast-paced, deadline driven team, building and delivering multi-variant marketing comms across a variety of through-the-line channels.  You’ll have the right skills and experience to ensure you hit the ground running and add value from the off.  

This role is right for you if... you’re a highly collaborative self-starter who’s used to juggling multiple projects in a busy environment and skilled at running projects efficiently from end to end. You’ll have great communication and organisational skills, great attitude and energy and work well within a team.   

As one of our client-side Campaign Marketing Managers, you’ll be accountable for the end to end delivery of your projects, so attention to detail is an absolute must as is experience of working directly with and managing high numbers of stakeholders within regulated environments.  The brand you’ll be working on is Barclays – whilst you don’t necessarily need experience in Financial Services (although brilliant if you have), ideally, you’ll have experience of working within a medium to large corporate business and understand the governance, logistics and management this requires.

About the team you will be joining: You’ll be working directly with our B2B client team as one of their Campaign ManagersThe whole team are subject matter experts so you don’t necessarily need to be a B2B expert (but great if you are!)You just need you to bring your experience, skills and a positive approach to learning about their customers, products and comms.  

What you will be doing:

Your core role will be to support the development and implementation of projects, ensure business objectives are met and to deliver your programmes and campaigns efficiently and effectively.  Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Managing and executing marketing and comms campaigns and programmes, liaising with colleagues in the wider Marketing teams, Product and Channel teams to ensure all activity is aligned to agreed plans and delivered on time and on budget 
  • Supporting the development of briefs and briefings including creative, targeting, media and production
  • Managing the development of creative assets, media and targeting plans, working with agency partners effectively and collaboratively 
  • Ensuring communications are consistently challenging the norm and pushing creative boundaries and excellence
  • Ensuring all governance and control requirements are operating and executed effectively  
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Proven detailed knowledge and experience in creating, developing and delivering world class marketing communications through multiple channels (including direct mail, email, SMS and display advertising), touchpoints and customer segments, working with teams both internally and externally
  • Sound and comprehensive relationship building and diplomacy skills to be able to communicate complex material, with the ability to guide and influence stakeholders, colleagues and external creative agencies
  • A broad and extensive experience of digital and marketing, and proven results, particularly in direct marketing to customers via digital channels – including planning, scheduling and prioritising, customer targeting, channel management, effective promotion of products and services, personalisation, implementation and governance
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach with strong and positive energy
  • High levels of accuracy for work, combined with experience in developing and delivering world-class marketing activity
  • Strong juggling and prioritisation skills learnt in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • And the resilience to problem solve and work collaboratively with colleagues to overcome hurdles and achieve positive outcomes for all
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience of working within an Agile project management environment 
  • You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role
