Role: Influencer Lead (12 month FTC with view to extend)

Location:  Amsterdam, Netherlands

 

About the Role:

We're seeking an innovative Influencer Lead to join our cutting-edge in-house agency team in Amsterdam. This strategic role will help shape influencer marketing strategies for leading global ice cream brands, working within a "social-first" framework and leveraging advanced AI and generative technologies. As part of a newly established integrated agency team at the forefront of marketing innovation, you'll collaborate with brand teams to develop compelling influencer strategies that blend human creativity with AI-powered insights and capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Regional Management:

  • Lead and co-ordinate all Regional Influencer Work across Europe, integrating AI-powered tools and analytics for enhanced decision-making 
  • Act as primary liaison between Client teams and BrandTech Group, championing innovative approaches to influencer marketing 
  • Direct and deploy influencer manager work across global and local EU markets, utilising AI tools for improved efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Provide line management to market influencer managers 
  • See influencer campaigns from conception through to execution and ensure delivery excellence across all markets

Strategy & Development:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive global influencer marketing strategies that drive meaningful impact for brands, leveraging both traditional insights and AI-powered analytics. 
  • Partner with brand teams to understand business goals and translate them into effective influencer marketing approaches 
  • Highly creative, with firm understanding of the influencer landscape, brand collaborations and how to find a creative sweet spot that feels authentic and engages brand and influencer fans. 
  • Create detailed briefs for our influencer agency partners, including closer partnership with Collectively – our world-class BrandTech Influence partner.  
  • Oversee strategy implementation and campaign performance using advanced analytics and AI-driven measurement tools 
  • Creating strategic influencer toolkits for regional markets to localise - think beautifully crafted decks which truly sell an idea.  
  • Host monthly meetings with local markets to provide updates and give strategic as well as executional guidance. 

Innovation & Technology:

  • Champion the integration of AI and generative technologies in influencer marketing strategies 
  • Explore and implement new ways to leverage AI for content optimization, audience targeting, and campaign performance 
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies and their applications in social media marketing 
  • Drive innovation in how we blend human creativity with AI capabilities 

Collaboration & Integration:

  • Collaborate with the social media lead, social strategist, and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign execution 
  • Represent the influencer capability bringing expertise and diplomacy to the inter-agency team, working with media, creative, digital and other stakeholders.  
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in both influencer marketing and social media 
  • Coordinate cross-market initiatives and ensure consistency in approach 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 6-8 years of experience in influencer marketing, with demonstrated success in strategy and creative influencer campaign development, particularly on TikTok and Instagram 
  • Strong interest in and understanding of AI and generative technologies in marketing 
  • Strong track record of working with major consumer brands and within an inter-agency environment.  
  • Solid understanding of paid social and media’s role in the amplification component of influencer marketing 
  • Proven team leadership and people management experience 
  • Experience managing multi-market campaigns in Europe 
  • Deep understanding of the influencer landscape and social media platforms 
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and communication 
  • Data-driven approach to strategy development and optimization 
  • Fluent in English 

You'll Be Great in This Role If You Have:

  • Experience working with AI and generative technologies in marketing 
  • Passion for marketing innovation and new technologies 
  • Background in FMCG/CPG brand marketing and an interest in and understanding for the foodie, lifestyle and fashion space 
  • On the pulse of what is new in influencer brand partnerships across but not limited to Instagram and TikTok 
  • Understanding of content creation and production processes 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills 
  • Ability to bridge the gap between traditional marketing and emerging technologies
