Role: Account/Project Manager

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Employment Type: 12-month FTC with view to extend

 

About the role:

OLIVER is a global marketing agency.  Our skilled creative talents are dedicated to high-profile clients and are based either onsite, near site or offsite in our hubs. OLIVER partnered with the client in 2015 building out a language localisation team and since then we have launched 5 other teams spanning from shoot production to toolkit creation. With an unmatched history and tradition of creating iconic products, consumer connections and experiences, the client has been defining sport culture since the beginning. And they’re not done. We are working with the client to build a dedicated global centralised adaptation dedicated team, which will deliver all their global localised remastering and adaptation needs. Our team will support the client’s Europe markets from our centralised offices as well as being onsite/near-site with the clients in these markets. The support will span from eCom, social, print and their retail content needs. This team serves as the client's bespoke global adaptation global agency, working at the heart of their business. We are looking for people who want to work closer with clients and brands, who are entrepreneurial and relish the opportunity to be a part of something new and dynamic.  

What you will be doing:

  • Working with local supplied creative, delivering end to end management of above the line (paid media) local campaigns. Channels: Retail and in-store advertising, Digital, Social, OOH, DOOH and Press  
  • End to end management of all asset creation across; Retail and in-store advertising, Digital, Social, OOH, DOOH and Press.  
  • Working with offsite / international hubs to deliver work
  • Delivering project ownership, with support from the Account Team, including: 
    • Interrogating and adapting client briefs so they’re Production and Studio friendly
    • Working with client to forecast and plan workloads
    • Planning and booking the required studio resource with the Resource Manager 
    • Briefing work to the creative team to execute
    • QC of all assets before sharing with clients
    • Managing review and amends with clients
    • Developing and managing project timelines
    • Estimating how long a job will take 
    • Communicating project milestones to all relevant team members
    • Final delivery of assets to client and media partners
    • Gathering and presenting client data to drive account growth 
    • Work collaboratively within the team to deliver high quality work
    • Daily and weekly status reports delivered both internally and externally with client
    • Work collaboratively, motivate and encourage the closest and wider teams ensuring all team members remain focused on delivering the best work possible and feel supported in doing so 
  • Be pro-active and therefore anticipate and rectify issues at the project outset before they become a problem. Identify, manage and mitigate against project risks at all times
  • Plan and schedule projects efficiently, therefore ensuring the optimum use of company resources
  • Communicate project status both internally and externally according to agreed account process
  • Oversee the creative output; acting as guardian to ensure quality is kept high across all projects
  • Strive to follow and implement the best practice production process within OLIVER and with clients
  • A strong passion for sport and particularly for the client's brand.  
  • Ideally a strong background in advertising campaign production. 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 2-4 years experience working in an agency / high volume production environment 
  • Experience working in an advertising agency; sports and lifestyle category is a plus
  • Experience delivering creative or creative production for digital, retail and paid media campaigns  
  • Cross channel experience; Retail and in-store advertising, Digital, Social, OOH, DOOH and Press  
  • Experience with multiple projects across multiple languages at once
  • A solid understanding of channel best practices 
  • A mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment, with high volumes of activity
  • Be a solution focused team member, with confident communication skills both internally and externally with client 
  • Strong project management skills and highly detail-oriented and organised 
  • Ability to quickly immerse in brands, problem-solve and be fully into role within 90 days
  • Smooth team operations with flawless execution of projects on time and with excellence
  • Confident in contributing to daily and project stand-ups 
  • A basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and AfterEffects and what they’re used for
  • Good understanding of how long things take and ability to estimate time required for creatives
  • Understanding of Celtra is a plus
  • Past experience in managing external stakeholder relationships such as media agencies  
  • Comfortable with working with remote clients and functional team in different time zones and cultures
  • Experience managing projects from briefing to delivery
  • Desire to mentor and help junior members of the team in their own development is plus
