STRATEGY AND PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR (PART-TIME)

Amsterdam, Netherlands

12-month FTC (freelance options are not available)

Working in partnership with the client, you’ll be responsible for shaping social first strategy for iconic brands at a global level, inspiring culture defining work, and driving creative performance through to provable sales impact.

What you will be doing:

This role has five key areas of responsibility

  • Leading integrated comms planning in partnership with Brandtech’s media strategy director and clients for global and regional campaigns
    • Ensuring plans are social first and culture led
    • Ensuring plans deliver maximum commercial impact
    • Deploying Gen AI to accelerate and augment the process
  • Being accountable for improving creative performance
    • Establishing and maintaining rituals around creative testing, optimization and performance measurement
    • Working with Brandtech’s Pencil team and the client’s data and insight teams to constantly improve the level of insight we bring to bear
    • Developing a creative learning culture, where creative performance is pervasive
    • Identifying new opportunities for growth
  • Delivering original cultural insight to fuel groundbreaking creativity
    • Fostering an environment of identifying and sharing audience and cultural insights across social, strategy and creative teams
    • Ensuring we have the right processes to bring insights to bear
    • Developing relevant thought pieces on how the client's brands can take advantage of new social shifts
  • Developing and mentoring the Senior Social Strategist and Insight and Creative Performance Analysts in the team
    • Providing coaching and support
    • Driving best in class thinking and analysis
  • Breaking new ground in the use of Gen AI
    • Championing the use of new Brandtech tools
    • Finding new use cases to accelerate and improve strategy development
    • Educating and inspiring the team

What you need to be great in this role:

Strategic experience

  • Strong experience of building holistic digital strategies for brands across all channels that drive commercial success
  • Strong experience of evaluating creative performance to draw out meaningful and actionable learnings to drive better results
  • Strong experience of working collaboratively with creative and social teams to deliver culturally impactful and commercially successful work
  • Strong experience in using Gen AI to accelerate and augment strategy development

Skills

  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Able to distil actionable insight from multiple data sources
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the major LLMs and best practice prompting
