A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM 

In today's fiercely competitive marketplace, achieving creative excellence across all eCommerce touchpoints is crucial. We are seeking a visionary Account Director renowned for their outstanding work in the Beauty & Skincare sector to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate our brand's presence and impact across Europe. 

Our ideal candidate will excel in high-volume adaptation, ensuring compliance, consistency, and competitiveness. As the Account Director, you will adeptly manage and inspire our talented account team, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring the highest quality from initial concept through to execution and delivery.

This role offers the chance to work with iconic beauty brands as we launch a groundbreaking Europe-wide eCommerce Content Factory. By integrating automation and AI, we aim to revolutionise content creation and set new digital standards for online beauty experiences. 

As the Account Lead, you will motivate your direct team to excel in their roles and ensure effective communication up to the global level, aligning with overarching objectives. You implement and oversee best practice processes alongside your Project Director to optimize efficiency and productivity, all while maintaining a keen eye for potential risks and cultivating a solution-oriented mindset to address challenges proactively. 

Across the account you champion the OLIVER strategic vision and drive growth, by demonstrating an ability to add value to the development of our clients’ business by generating fresh thinking and relevant new ideas, ensuring the agency is always at the forefront of all new initiatives undertaken by our clients, working with other senior members of the team to ensure exposure to the right expertise. 

 

WHAT IS REQUIRED: 

  • Experience in Beauty & eCommerce is a MUST.  
  • Work in true collaboration with the Client and be responsible for Brand Guardianship on all projects to ensure that the client experience is positive.  
  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of adaptation projects, from initial concept through to execution and delivery, ensuring adherence to strict SLAs and quality benchmarks. 
  • Working with the client on planning and forecasting projects ensuring utilisation of the studio is being managed effectively.  
  • Working with SME’s, lead the phased launch across multiple markets, brands & language. 
  • QC & Triage briefs with your client and production team, ensuring approach and resource assignment aligns with the needs of the brief. Risk assessing at every stage.  
  • Responsible for performance management with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to leadership and clients. Including working with the Group Account Director on overall account strategy & corrective action plans when required.  
  • Responsible for financial control of the account, including billing, profitability, accuracy of forecasting, as well as team size negotiation, providing regular and timely reports to the Group Account Director. 
  • Own the execution of projects, run rates and client satisfaction through catchups with job owners and the weekly account/project management WIP. 
  • Escalation points if the client or internal SLA's and processes are not adhered to, or where there are process gaps. Ensure that these are captured along with a suggestion for improvement, and work with the Group account Director & Global Programme Director or relevant department lead to rectify this. 
  • Lead an onsite and offshore team, supporting team development, performance reviews & future hiring plans. Provide team leadership, line managing up to 3 reports. 
  • Negotiate to create win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members where needed. 
  • Identify new business opportunities through relationships, introducing IIG’s & Brand tech group capabilities where appropriate. Responsible for the delivery of growth targets for the account. 

 WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE: 

  • 10-15 years account management experience 
  • eCommerce and Beauty fanatic, passion for driving professional & science driven content that performs. Experience working with beauty and Dermatological products. 
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Excellent account leadership skills with a developed financial and commercial acumen, creative judgment, strategic thinking, talent management and business growth 
  • A proven track record of commercial growth across new and existing business 
  • First-rate communications skills, with the ability to be articulate in person and in writing and strong presentation skills with an innate rapport build
  • The ability to manage and develop junior team members. 
  • A clear understanding of all IIG group products and how to utilise this knowledge to the accounts advantage.  
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service. 
  • Tech and Data driven with a proven background in client reporting & building business cases for account transformation.  
  • Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to studio output. 
  • Proficient in Adobe WF (or similar), Microsoft Office, and other related software. 
  • Proficiency in Spanish & English is required as we are a global business.
