Role: Transcreation Executive 

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

 

About the role:

As Transcreation Executive you will be working within the Transcreation team, ensuring the successful delivery of premium international marketing communication for a global brand. 

  • This is a hybrid role, you will be expected to be in the London office 2-3 days a week max. 
  • Several times a year there will be client campaigns that will require you to be in client’s office (London) for 2 to 4 weeks max. Further details can be provided during the interview stage

What you will be doing:

  • You will be responsible for the quality planning and execution of translation and transcreation projects.
  • You will be required to plan your projects at hand in a proactive manner, monitor their progress and solve problems that might arise.
  • You will liaise with in-market-creatives (copywriters, transcreators, translators, and editors), allocate jobs and track project progress.
  • You will be a fast thinker and will be able to apply problem-solving techniques.
  • Whenever required, you will discuss and negotiate with the client the scope of work and, in agreement with the Transcreation Manager / Senior Transcreation Manager / Transcreation Director, manage and exceed client’s expectations.
  • Ability to communicate workflow and project status with multiple stakeholders
  • You will be working directly with the Transcreation Manager on your own Key Performance Indicators, setting goals to progress within the language services team within OLIVER. 
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues

OLIVER is strongly committed to delivering the best possible international communication, and part of your job is therefore to quality check transcreations at different project stages. You will also have the opportunity to build strong relationships with in-market creatives as well as work with different people and talents around the world. You will be working across all marketing channels and gain insights in other account teams such as production, digital, broadcast or on-site client teams. Part of the job is also to execute administration tasks such as PO and invoice processing, building glossaries as well as maintaining and managing translation memories. 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in a similar role.
  • Proven Project or Account Management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, as well as excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • Ability to prioritise, address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward
  • University degree in Marketing, Languages, Business or related field.
  • Master degree related to Languages or Marketing would be ideal, but not a must.
  • This person will have a good understanding of localisation and creative production processes.  
  • Native speaker of a foreign language is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of CAT tools
  • On the job training will be provided
