Role:  Transcreation Executive 

Location:  London, England, United Kingdom (2-3 days a week from our London Offices)

 

About the role: 

As Transcreation Executive you will be working within the Transcreation Team, ensuring the successful delivery of premium international marketing communication for global brands. 

  • This is a hybrid role, based in our London office 2-3 days a week.  
  • A few times a year there will be client campaigns that will require you to be in client’s office (London). Further details can be provided during the interview stage.  

OLIVER is strongly committed to delivering the best possible international communication, and part of your job is to quality check transcreations at different project stages. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with in-market creatives as well as work with different people and talents around the world. You will be working across all marketing channels and gain insights in other teams such as production, digital, broadcast or on-site client teams. 

You'll manage several types of project workflows, from creating estimates, allocating resources, to the timely delivery of projects. Administrative tasks are also key, such as processing purchase orders and invoices, building glossaries, and maintaining translation memories. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Dedicate approximately 50% of your efforts to a primary account and divide the remaining 50% on other ad-hoc accounts. 
  • Responsible for the quality planning and execution of translation and transcreation projects. 
  • Plan your projects at hand in a proactive manner, monitor their progress and solve problems that might arise. 
  • Maintaining consistent communication with account managers and clients to update project progress and address any queries. 
  • Liaising with in-market creatives (copywriters, transcreators, translators, and editors), allocating jobs and tracking project progress. 
  • Applying problem-solving techniques and thinking quickly to resolve issues. 
  • Discussing and negotiating the scope of work with clients as required, managing and exceeding client expectations in agreement with the Transcreation Manager, Senior Transcreation Manager, or Transcreation Director. 
  • Communicating workflow and project status with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Working directly with a Senior Transcreation Manager on Key Performance Indicators, setting goals for progression within the language services team at OLIVER. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • University degree in Languages, Marketing, Business or related fields. 
  • Interest in localisation and creative production processes.  
  • Knowledge of CAT tools and project management tools are a plus 
  • Strong multitasking and organisational skills, effectively managing time, prioritising tasks, and addressing roadblocks. 
  • Excellent linguistic and communication skills  
  • Proficiency in multiple languages and native speaker of a language other than English is highly desirable. 
  • Master’s degree related to Languages or Marketing would be ideal, but not a must. 
  • On the job training will be provided.
