About the role:
Working with an FMCG client, the Motion Designer work as part of a team creating still & moving content including motion, editing and delivery. In addition, this position supports a wide range of internal and external communications needs (executive presentations, employee digital communications, etc.) and brand support. With a thorough understanding of how different digital channels present different challenges and opportunities, this role will work closely with Designers to create great content for internal and external use, specifically social media. Working within the team, the candidate must be highly collaborative and still be able to work independently. Reporting to the Studio Lead, the Motion Designer works alongside the team of 15 consisting of integrated designers, motion designers and account managers.
What you will be doing:
- Talented and well-rounded video motion editor that works well under tight deadlines, producing high-quality work.
- Understand what makes GREAT content for social media and can shape audiovisual videos for social media using current styles, resources, trends, transitions, etc.
- Able to receive resources, toolkit and a brief with footage to create inspiring videos based on a script or storyboard.
- Produce creative motion graphics
- Creating adaptations from the master files into multiple outputs for a media plan
- Creating, sometimes from scratch and sometimes adapting from existing work, 2D animations, Motion Graphics, videos, gifs, etc.
- Experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements
- Suggesting or selecting music
- Following strict brand guidelines, while finding the right balance between creative flare and sticking closely to the guidelines
What you need to be great in this role:
- Previous experience in advertising agency in motion design
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Impressive reel
- Ability to liaise across various departments with clear communication
- The ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty, ambiguity, and quickly evolving goals
- Knowledge of collaborating and working alongside clients in advertising setting to meet creative briefs
- Ability to turn high volume of assets and projects around on tight deadlines
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
- Expert level experience with Premiere, After Effects or relevant software
- Moderate - Expert experience with Photoshop/Illustrator
- Be a team player
- Experience in alcohol and beverage sectors.
