Role: Account Manager

About the role:
Working in partnership with our client, the Account Manager will assist the team to create powerful and impactful design across various platforms.
Reporting to the Account Director, the AM is part of a team of 10 with varying skillsets. Taking responsibility for a particular scope of work makes this a challenging role that will give the right person true ownership of their day to day and playing a key part in the overall development of an extremely fast-paced environment.
What you will be doing:
- A deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations, and requirements to provide the best service and solution through close partnership with the client.
- Effective project management through the full life cycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients often through regular face to face contact and virtual meetings.
- Run account meetings and take responsibility.
- Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests.
- Understand your client’s business and objectives; input strategically to develop creative briefs.
- Support client growth and projects.
- Work-flow management – liaising with internal creatives and external suppliers where needed.

What you need to be great in this role:
- Creative Account management experience 8 years.
- You're extremely well organised, naturally juggling multiple tasks at any one time.
- You cope effectively when things are up in the air and carefully manage ever shifting priorities.
- Oversight of creative output; acting as guardian to ensure quality is kept high across all projects.
- Interpreting/consolidation of client briefs, setting and managing project timelines, briefing projects internally & externally, ensuring all output meets client requirements, has been through QC and is approved and on brand before released to client.
- A problem solver with an understanding of the creative industry.
- Great attention to detail.
- You genuinely care about people and build collaborative working relationships. You listen well
to challenges and work with people to overcome problems in a positive way. - Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Competent in presenting and communicating ideas to clients.
- The ability to clearly articulate your ideas
- A real self-starter – Never be sat there twiddling their thumbs.
- Hard working but up for a laugh at the same time.
- Worked in a creative agency, (Ideally based on-site client side).
- Executional rigour, competent in multitasking and great organisational skills.
- Experience in B2B / D2C.
- Confidence with clients in both a face to face and virtual setting
- Experience with projects that involve strategic and creative team input such as planners, copywriters and art directors.
- You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role
