Role: Content Creator

Location: Casablanca, Morocco

 

About the role:

Working with our client the Content Creator/Community Manager based in Morocco will be responsible for creating engaging social media content for the client's brands and other brands within the portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling content that resonates with the audience while maintaining brand voice and identity. Reporting to the Account Director based in Dubai, the Content Creator will be required to work 2 days a week in the client's office with the remainder of the week being remote. 

What you will be doing:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices. 
  • Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills.  
  • Experience with content creation tools (Photoshop, Canva, video editing software)
  • Create ideas for social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.) that would be relevant for the client’s needs and within brand guidelines.  
  • Create both Arabic & French content to reach local audience.  
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely and brand appropriate manner.  
  • Research and keep up to date on current marketing, advertising and tech trends to make informed content decisions.  
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.  
  • Oversee the development of projects from ideation to production.  
  • Monitor performance metrics for content through Google Analytics.
  • Present performance updates to stakeholders and clients with a view on how to improve.  
  • Work across client's brands and other products. 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Excellent client engagement skills that will support expectation management and influence on content decisions. 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.  
  • Excellent written English skills with the ability to add a creative flair to make engaging content within brand guidelines.  
  • Understanding of various types of content and the appropriate time to utilise them to gain best performance.  
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.  
  • Commercially aware and uses a strong understanding of trends to ensure the correct content is posted to achieve the highest success rate possible.
  • Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods sectors is a bonus.
  • Experience working with food brands.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in:
    • Digital
    • Print
    • Motion Graphics
    • Artwork
    • Production
