Role:  Social Integrated Designer

Location:  London, England, United Kingdom

About the role:

Working in partnership with our client, we’re looking for a Social Integrated Designer who brings bold ideas to life through digital design, motion graphics, and social-first storytelling. In this role, you'll concept and execute visually compelling content for social media—blending static, animated, and short-form video design that stands out in the scroll. You’ll work hand-in-hand with strategists and the creative director to build high-performing assets for real-time moments, campaigns, and brand storytelling.

You should have a strong grasp of platform trends, an eye for clean and emotive design, and a deep understanding of how creative drives engagement across channels.

What you will be doing:

  • Social-First Design Execution
    • Design and animate assets for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
    • Create a mix of static graphics, motion templates, video frames, and mixed-media formats that are platform-native and on-brand.
  • Real-Time Content Production
    • Turn around quick-fire social assets in reaction to cultural moments
    • Prepare templates and modular design systems to speed up reactive workflows.
  • Motion & Animation
    • Develop engaging motion graphics, transitions, lower thirds, and visual effects that enhance storytelling.
    • Work closely with video editors to ensure brand consistency and visual polish across all deliverables.
  • Visual Identity & Brand Consistency
    • Uphold and evolve the brand’s visual language across all social touchpoints.
    • Translate creative direction and campaign themes into social-friendly design formats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with community managers, strategists and producers to bring creative concepts to life.
    • Participate in brainstorming, storyboarding, and moodboarding for larger campaign work.
  • Optimization & Innovation
    • Use performance data and platform insights to inform creative decisions and iterate on content.
    • Stay on top of social design trends, emerging formats, and cultural shifts.
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, Canva, and motion tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Lottie, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, and colour in mobile-first environments.
  • Motion design skills are essential—GIFs, kinetic type, and snappy transitions are second nature.
  • Strong understanding of content formats for different platforms (story, feed, reel, shorts, etc.).
  • Ability to work quickly, take feedback, and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or reactive content team (e.g., sports teams, media houses, agencies).
  • Experience creating templates for scalable content production.
  • Comfort working with brand guidelines but pushing creative boundaries within them.
  • You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role
