Role: Social Media Manager (Arabic Speaker)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
About the role:
Working onsite closely with our client, the Social Media Manager will build, engage and proactively support a social community through all key channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and support the main campaigns each year. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for providing strategic best-in-class advice to the client and agency teams, writing/creating beautiful and engaging social content and managing the client on BAU briefs.
Reporting to the Business Director, the Social Media Manager is a highly collaborative role within the team of 5.
What you will be doing:
- Work in true collaboration with BEL and be responsible for brand guardianship as the steward of BEL’s online personality.
- Ownership of Services related to social media channels & responsibility for content delivery across multiple brands.
- Drive direction for dialogue with consumers.
- Write inventive, attention-capturing posts, aligned to approved standards.
- Develop FAQ question catalogue for consumers with BEL to stay relevant.
- Publish content, with a strong brand ambassadorship.
- Maintenance of influencer relationships and reposting.
- Work closely with the team and network of community managers and designers to create social assets.
- Work across brands in the Middle East, present in several countries
- Come up with real relevant insights from the local markets
- Client day-to-day contact – replying to daily requests and enquiries
- Trafficking and managing the team’s workflow of briefs – maintaining timelines
- Building the content calendar for the year and month
- Taking client briefs
- Responding to client emails on timely basis
- Managing reporting of community manager and insights
What you need to be great in this role:
- Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
- Be a level, strategic thinker
- The ability to manage client expectations when delivering projects
- Entrepreneurial and proactive in approach and attitude
- The ability to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions in line with their content pillars
- Successful implementation of content measurement and testing
- Excellent written communication skills, and the ability to develop the voice of the brand within it
- Professional and works well under pressure, retaining confidence of the client
- Keen and active interest in digital trends and popular culture
- Pharma experience advantageous
- Experience with working with a social media management tool
- In-depth understanding of paid media and the role of influencers
- Experience in Food sectors.
- Experience working with Food products.
- 3 -6 years of relevant experience
- Arabic speaking and writing
