Role: Midweight Content Creator
Location: Kingston, London, United Kingdom (On site / shoot locations min 2/3 days per week)
About the role:
Working in partnership with our client as a Recipe Content Creator bringing delicious food stories to life for iconic food brands. Your culinary creativity, on-camera charisma, and content creation skills will transform our food products into engaging social content. Based in our Kingston studio and working in partnership with the Foods Content, Media and Commerce (CMC) team, you'll develop, present, and produce recipes that showcase our clients' food brands in authentic, appetising ways across social media platforms.
Your comfort in front of the camera combined with your video editing expertise and trend awareness will help consumers connect with food brands through compelling, culturally relevant content that inspires them to cook and create.
You'll be the culinary storyteller bringing recipes to life with your on-camera presence, food expertise, and content creation skills. Working at the intersection of content creation and food innovation, you'll translate brand briefs into mouthwatering recipe videos optimised for social engagement.
We're looking for someone who combines cooking skills with video production expertise and platform knowledge, creating recipe content that stays ahead of trends and performs brilliantly on social platforms whilst highlighting product benefits authentically. Success means creating recipe content that drives engagement, inspires action, and delivers measurable results.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and test recipes featuring client food products that resonate with target audiences
- Present recipes on camera with an engaging, approachable style across various social platforms
- Edit and produce social-first recipe videos optimised for specific platform requirements and audience behaviours
- Create content that aligns with and capitalises on current social media trends and formats
- Monitor social media trends and quickly adapt content approaches to maintain relevance
- Film and edit recipe content with a quick turnaround to react to trending topics and moments
- Work alongside designers and social media managers to develop cohesive social media campaigns
- Analyse content performance and optimise future productions based on insights
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and emerging content formats
- Bring food product benefits to life through creative recipe applications and compelling demonstrations
- Maintain food safety standards and brand guidelines throughout the content creation process
What you need to be great in this role:
- Demonstrable experience creating and editing on-camera recipe content for social media platforms
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Natural on-camera presence with the ability to present recipes clearly and engagingly
- Strong recipe development skills with an understanding of how to highlight product benefits
- Practical food styling abilities that make dishes look irresistible on camera
- Expert knowledge of social platform trends, algorithm behaviours, and content performance factors
- Ability to quickly identify and adapt to emerging content formats and trends
- Experience creating social-first content with an understanding of platform-specific requirements
- Knowledge of current food trends and how they can be applied to branded recipe content
- Experience with the full video production process from concept to filming to final edit
- Ability to adapt quickly to feedback and evolve content based on performance metrics
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a studio environment
- A passion for food storytelling and making cooking accessible to diverse audiences
