Role:  Project Manager

Location:  Bracknell, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid working 2 days a week, from both our London & Bracknell offices)

 

About the role:

Working as part of a global team and working into an SPM in Asia – support the definition of account processes and set the benchmark for other global 3M hubs to follow. Must have 5+ years in a similar global account setup. The account is in the Consumer Business Group, so B2C experience is essential. The immediate need is the design and production scope of work and must have experience in this – but in the near term, the requirement will be to work at a conceptual level too. The account is fast-paced – the work list is vast, so we need someone who has worked with complex processes and can deliver numerous briefs at a time across many stakeholders and be proactive to problem-solve and escalate to keep things on track.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Work with multiple online systems – Oliver and client's, and work in the client’s environment to store assets, files and communicate with clients.
  • Deliver a wide range of assets – we produce lots of online assets (web banners, social images), product image mock-ups and POS, so experience with these types of assets is required. The account is integrated so we need an all-rounder that can support on many types of briefs.
  • AI and automation are not far away so experience in this area would be helpful.
  • Proactively develop client relationships – regular contacts and look to generate new opportunities and connect the dots on solutions.
  • Drive and demonstrate operational excellence on the account every day.
  • Provide excellent operational guidance on projects and advocate and encourage creative excellence – support the creative process and drive for innovative solutions.
  • Manage MI reporting, client WIP calls, demand planning with all divisions and actively control divisions against allocated hours.
  • Define and provide client inductions where needed.
  • Clear understanding of the Oliver group capabilities - drive cross-agency collaboration.
  • Support global hubs day to day.
  • Challenge the status quo - seek knowledge from other accounts / outside the agency / competitors – look to innovate in the clients space.
  • KPIs will be set on joining and will be measured at 3 months.

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • A strong operational thinker who is confident and articulate - can stand toe to toe with creatives, clients and have intellectual debates at a project level
  • Excellent attention to detail and an appreciation of each creative channel
  • Be solution-orientated
  • Good organisational skills is a must, as is the ability to juggle numerous projects and priorities
  • Happy to execute as much as strategise – we deliver a lot of work
  • Excellent relationship builder - keen to get involved and collaborate in a team environment and have face time with clients and get into ‘their’ world - no shrinking violets!
  • Great financial management skills – it’s crucial to the OLIVER model
  • Mature grown-up attitude, knows when to make big calls and doesn’t hide behind emails, has sound judgment and understands client politics
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in creative delivery
  • Proven at a creative level
  • Good decision-making under pressure
  • Technologically-savvy
  • Great people and relationship skills 
  • Strong time management and scheduling skills
  • Role will be UK-based, working with teams across EMEA and APAC – this roll is hybrid and days working in Bracknell will be required
