Role: Senior Project Manager
Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells, England, United Kingdom (2 days per week in the office)
About the role:
Working in partnership with our client, we are seeking an experienced client facing Senior Project Manager to work with one of the world’s most recognisable financial and professional service brands. This is a pivotal role within the team and will ensure the smooth creation of content across marketing BAU and ad-hoc projects.
The role requires a natural born organised person who is open and excited by the opportunity to creatively problem solve. You will be responsible for owning the creative process working alongside our existing talented team to drive projects from brief to delivery, scheduling work and ensuring the right talent is assigned to fulfil projects to the highest standards.
The right candidate will have a love of great creative and an appreciation of the craft it takes to deliver it well and be experienced in juggling multiple projects across a large group of clients and stakeholders, often to conflicting priorities.
What you will be doing:
- Lead projects independently including, client kick off and internal WIP meetings.
- Hold daily stand ups, providing detailed status updates with clear next steps and ownership against actions.
- Own the end-to-end process of projects across print, digital and social, from concept through to final delivery.
- Management of workflow pipeline, upcoming briefs and resource requirement, keeping client and agency teams accountable to deadlines and processes whilst maintaining good relationships.
- Monitor and allocate resource for upcoming briefs, solving resource requirements in advance of bottlenecks occurring.
- Drive project efficiency and creative excellence at all times.
- Work collaboratively, motivate and encourage teams to ensure that all team members remain focused on delivering the best work possible and feel supported in doing so.
- Create and communicate project estimates and timelines, effectively measuring progress against each throughout the delivery process to ensure projects deliver on brief, on time, and on budget.
- Drive consistencies and efficiencies across all agency communications, creative and formal presentations.
- Be seen as the voice of reason, getting under the skin of your projects, and presenting all problems with a solution.
- Independently produce accurate and timely utilisation and financial reports.
- Independently manage and track team utilisation and project financials across disparate stakeholder groups, pro-actively ensuring client value is delivered.
- Lead operational excellence across the wider account, challenging the status quo and implementing processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Senior Account Director to drive an inspirational, creative culture across both agency and client teams.
- You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
- 6+ Years’ experience managing creative, design, and artwork process from initial briefing to delivery.
- Competence in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Sound understanding of production process.
- Excellent understanding of project, utilisation and financial tracking.
- Confident communication skills with clients, internal teams, discipline leads and client services.
- Booking and managing resource effectively.
- Experience dealing directly with clients is essential.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Experience working in an agency environment with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects across multiple stakeholders and clients.
- Work well under pressure with strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Highly organised with a logical, solution focused approach to challenges.
- The ability to monitor work closely and manage team members to meet tight deadlines implementing change management to a project plan, as necessary.
