Role: Social Media & Community Manager (Corporate Comms)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom 

About the role: 

We’re seeking a visionary Social Media & Community Manager to be our in-house expert and consultant, guiding internal stakeholders and shaping client presence across all social platforms when it comes to corporate communication. You’ll lead the charge in identifying emerging issues, proactively engaging with client mentions, and driving innovative content ideation and production. Your work will bring our brands, sustainability initiatives, and business stories to life—engaging audiences and spotlighting what makes our brand exceptional. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Real-Time Issues Monitoring & Escalation: Act as the vigilant eyes and ears on social media, swiftly identifying and flagging emerging issues to protect and enhance our reputation. 
  • Social-First Content Creation: Lead the briefing, management, and delivery of standout social content across all platforms. Collaborate with creative teams to transform business stories into compelling, channel-optimized content. Ensure editorial excellence and creative impact in every post. 
  • Performance Reporting & Insights: Own community insights and performance analytics, translating learnings into actionable strategies. Coordinate with media agencies to deliver robust monthly and quarterly reports, supporting both organic and paid media efforts. 
  • Social Media Best Practice & Thought Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert, championing best practices, sharing competitor benchmarks, and keeping the team ahead of the curve on platform innovations and trends. Continuously monitor and optimize our channels for maximum impact. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across the business, managing expectations and keeping stakeholders informed on project progress with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in social media management, with proven expertise in monitoring, moderation, and content creation. 
  • Previous experience managing a corporate communications on behalf of a large global brand
  • Outstanding project management and creative skills tailored to social platforms. 
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to extract and apply strategic insights. 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities. 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, innovations, and analytics. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
