Role:  Account Executive

About the role: 

Working in partnership with our clients, the role of the Account Executive is to support the Account Director with the delivery of client briefs based at our Bournemouth office. Liaising with our internal creative, production and delivery departments you will ensure that client projects are managed efficiently from start to finish from a budget, quality and timing perspective. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your own potential and gain valuable experience within a dynamic, fast-paced advertising agency. The Account Executive will report into the Account Director, and will work with the Copy Team, Production Department, Finance team, Creative team and Studio team on all matters relating to client deliverables.

What you will be doing: 

  • Ensure that client briefs are in the system in a timely manner, taking ownership of media schedules and management of deadlines without supervisor
  •  Ensures briefs to internal teams are clear, with requirements, timings, hours, relevant references and as much information as possible for the teams to execute
  •  Demonstrate confident management by ensuring client WIPs are up to date
  •  Proof check work thoroughly before it leaves the agency, with the aid of the Account Director where appropriate
  •  Work with Production to understand and analyse estimates prior to sending to clients
  •  Supporting the Account Director to ensure estimates are consistent – full descriptions, hours broken down by discipline, checked for typos. To ensure that all cost estimates, approvals and invoices are filed correctly.
  • To follow process and keep relevant processes up to date, WIPs, timing plans, job bags etc
  •  Understand and utilise the agency processes to progress client briefs to the correct departments and within your client SLAs
  •  Actively generating required client reports and delivering on time for the Senior Account Manager
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
