Role:  Mid-Weight Copywriter - Part-Time (2.5 day a week)

Location: Chiswick, West London

About the role: 

Our client is an owner of some of the biggest whisky brands on earth, as we seek creative copywriting talent to craft compelling narratives that amplify our iconic brands across global platforms. Your words will lead the conversation, engaging audiences and enhancing our brand presence in the digital realm. 

We're partnering with a global whisky brand entwined with thrilling sports ventures like football and F1, and we need a copywriter who is passionate about these areas. 

The role is based in Chiswick Business Park and involves close collaboration with brand and studio teams. You'll require a blend of creative writing, digital insight, and cultural awareness. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Copywriting Excellence: Create captivating copy for social media channels, blogs, product descriptions, campaign pages, cocktail pages, eCRM and e-commerce. Ensure every piece of writing reflects the brand's tone of voice (TOV) and resonates with audiences. Proactively suggest blog content themes aligned to the brand strategy. 
  • SEO Proficiency: Collaborate closely with SEO partners to produce copy that boosts visibility and aligns with digital marketing strategies. 
  • Insight-Driven Writing: Use social insights and trends to inform and refine your copy, ensuring relevance and engagement. 
  • Brand Storytelling: Craft and present compelling narratives that enhance brand identity and connect with consumers, working hand-in-hand with brand teams on key campaigns. 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Engage with brand and media teams regularly, ensuring cohesive strategies and execution. Manage multiple stakeholders and timelines effectively. 
  • Digital Savviness: Stay abreast of digital trends and cultural shifts and how they impact consumer engagement and brand perception. 

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Experience with B2C brands, ideally within a brand or agency setting. 
  • A strong passion for sports, particularly football and F1. 
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a knack for storytelling across various digital platforms. 
  • Proactive organizational skills and a self-starter attitude. 
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. 
  • Familiarity with using insights tools to guide content strategy. 
  • Ability to collaborate with creatives, respecting and enhancing brand voice and strategy. 
  • Experience with luxury or lifestyle brands is advantageous, along with a global perspective on how content flexes across regions.
