Role overview

The AI Project Lead is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the BTG transformation programme, executing the strategy set by the Global Programme Director and Managing Director (who retainoverall accountability and final sign-off). You will translate that strategy into clear, actionable plans—coordinating OLIVER, BTG teams, running programme governance, managing RAID and driving delivery through to implementation. Given the complexity of the programme, you will bring strong technical and operating-model fluency, contributing to solution design and end-to-end workflow development, bringing in specialist expertise where needed, and ensuring measurable outcomes are delivered.

What you will be doing

Transformation delivery & leadership

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of the BTG transformation project ensuring milestones, dependencies and outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Owner of the Content Intelligence project plan implementation and delivery
  • Define and maintain the integrated transformation plan across OLIVER, BTG and workstreams; drive progress, remove blockers and keep teams aligned.
  • Establish and run programme governance including weekly/bi-weekly forums, executive updates, status reporting, decision logs and change control.
  • Own the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies): ensure clear owners, due dates, mitigation plans and timely escalation with options and recommendations.
  • Coordinate regional rollouts in a globally consistent but locally tailored way, partnering with operational leads to drive readiness and adoption.

Success metrics management

  • Define complex success metrics with stakeholders.
  • Establish measurement approach and baselines; ensure tracking/reporting cadence and data ownership are agreed.
  • Monitor benefits realisation throughout the programme; identify actions required to close gaps and sustain improvements.

Stakeholder experience & communication

  • Be the client day-to-day contact for any transformation related queries, status updates and troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working groups across OLIVER/BTG; ensure decisions are made at the right level and communicated clearly.
  • Maintain a high standard of operational service and professionalism aligned to OLIVER, BTG ways of working.

Technical & solution design (high-level)

  • Demonstrate a technically minded approach, building and maintaining a strong understanding of the BTG tech stack/services to identify opportunities, constraints and transformation challenges.
  • Hold confident high-level conversations with client and internal stakeholders on technical solution options—knowing when to bring in specialist experts.
  • Support solution design across people, process and technology: shaping approaches that are commercially viable, resource-aware and scalable.
  • Apply learnings from each transformation phase to refine templates and future deployments.
  • Partner with senior leadership on packaging solutions and supporting selling moments where transformation expertise strengthens proposals.

Process, workflows & change management

  • Map future-state workflows; define handoffs, controls, governance and RACI across OLIVER/BTG.
  • Support the design of AI-enabled workflows, creating training materials and deliver enablement sessions; drive go-live readiness and post-launch hyper care to embed new ways of working.

What you will need to be great in this role

Experience & capabilities

  • 10+ years’ experience in Client Services, Programme Management, Operations and/or Transformation—ideally within large network agencies or complex global organisations.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder change programmes (preferably new client implementations and/or operating model transformation).
  • Strong programme management fundamentals (planning, governance, budgeting, dependencies, change control).
  • Confident working globally across regions, cultures and time zones.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement: able to influence, align and drive decisions across senior and cross-functional groups.
  • Strong process and workflow design capability, with a pragmatic mindset focused on measurable outcomes and adoption.
  • Comfortable navigating complex workflows across creative, production, marketing operations and technology teams.

Tech/tools

  • Strong general technical fluency; able to engage on platforms, integrations, workflow tooling and data/automation/AI concepts at a high level.

Personal attributes

  • Self-motivated, structured and proactive—able to work with minimal supervision and drive momentum.
  • Collaborative; able to work across OLIVER and BTG
